A young boy seeks the help of a wounded Devil, as the abuses of his parents get more and more dangerous everyday.  Dad’s drinking gets worse, with every tooth that falls out of his rotting, bloody mouth.  Mom is only kind when she is asleep, and she can only sleep for so many hours in a day.

Collin, a ten year old boy living on a run down farm with his abusive parents, nurses a wounded Devil that he found one day trapped in the wall of the family’s root cellar.  The Devil, a dangerous looking beast, awaits the boy’s kind feedings of table scraps and stolen leftovers.  As the Devil’s power is slowly regained, the boy’s health and wellbeing is pushed to the brink.

Once the Devil can muster the strength to free himself from twisted roots and clay wall of the root cellar, he takes the boy’s pain away and lumbers toward the small farmhouse to deliver pain to those who deserve no mercy.
